January 27, 2015. We heard that at night, around 8:00 at night, there is a show at the Victoria Harbour called "A Symphony of Lights". This will be one of the highlights of your visit to Hong Kong, so we made sure we are not going to miss it. We just put on our itinerary that we are going to visit Avenue of Stars and experience A Symphony of Lights in one sitting so a nighttime stroll is advised. On our Last night in Hong Kong, we walked throughout the Avenue of Stars. It was a cold night but we did not bulge. We were running late from the 8:00 pm show because earlier we went to Sky 100 Observation Deck in ICC. To see the Symphony of Lights, you have to be on either side of Victoria Harbour. If your hotel is on Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui Area like ours, then going to Avenue of the Stars is one way to view the show. You just walk going to South, then use the underpass. Follow the signs leading to the Avenue of Stars and it will lead you to the correct spot. Although any exit will probably lead there because its a long stretch, its better to start at the end. If you are going during the night in time for the show, just follow the people from the underpass to the bay walk and you will see they are all going there. After a few minutes of strolling, we found seats and a table, so we just rested there while enjoying the show. We were there on a Tuesday, so the narration was in Mandarin (which we did not understand). Below is a glimpse of what happened during the Symphony of Lights Show. Due to the noisy people (all foreign tourists like us are strolling, gathering and watching while gossiping), the Song being played with the Lights is hardly audible. Please bear with this video. Enjoy! To learn more information about this show, see Discover Hong Kong page at
